Nuxt 3 build process fails with nuxt build

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to Netlify’s Support Forums!

Sorry to hear about the issue with Nuxt 3 builds. From the deploy log I see this error:

[error] ENOENT: no such file or directory, mkdir ‘/opt/build/repo/dist’

I found a similar issue here with a possible solution:

Command Failed with exit code 1

I think it was one of these two things: I added the dist directory to the gitignore I had to switch the build command from “npm build” to “npm run build”

Could you give the solution from that post a try?
