Now Generally Available: Email Integrations!

We’re excited to announce that the Netlify Email Integration is now generally available as a production-ready feature for all users in their Netlify sites! :rocket:

With the launch, we have added the following:

  1. A new utility function that helps users trigger emails and send all required information for a successful email request.
  2. Ability to send attachments
  3. Ability to add responsive templates with MJML
  4. Ability to send test email functionality in the email preview UI
    … and more

This integration is free for all plans at the moment. This is subject to change in 2023 for the heaviest users. If and when this feature has paid options we will provide clear advance notification in the UI, on our pricing page and directly to customers actively using it.

Are you going to charge for this?

And I’m going to use html-amp-email, any restrictions? I didn’t know MJML, why him and not Google’s amp-email?

There’s no immediate intention to charge for this.

I don’t see any benefit of using AMP for emails over MJML. Any specific reason why you ask for that?

Because I’m already using AMP-email for this case.
