Netlify-cli cannot login - local issuer certificater

Afer I installed the netlift-cli I followed the instruction use npm install -g netlify-cli and the I run netlify login.

Logging into your Netlify account…
then nothing happened just stuck there:

FetchError: request to failed, reason: unable to get local issuer certificate

And cannot login, what might be the issue and how can i fix this?

sorry to hear about the trouble! Which version of the CLI are you using?

We have similar issues when serverless function are called locally. They do work after deployment, but not locally.
We are using cli version 3.3.0

The current latest is CLI v12, I wonder why you’re using v3.

Sorry @hrishikesh we looked at the wrong package in our config we are actually using v12, but the issue still persists.
