Hi there,

I’ve recreated the DNS records for your site, it’s back up-and-running.

If you have any follow-up questions, let’s talk about it over in the Netlify Support Forums. In return for support for our Starter plan customers, we ask that this is performed in a public setting so other Netlify developers can benefit from our discussion. Remember – no question goes unanswered.

Our staff, trusted Netlify Pilots and other developers will be on hand to help.

Well the site does work but my email is still not reconnected to the site and I need my email working ASAP as this is a business account this is certainly urgent

What is the domain @mbest32?

Are the appropriate MX records to ensure the flow of email correctly configured?

How long since these records where put in place? It can take several hours for records to fully propagate.

I don’t know. I only know that it all worked before Netlify suspended the account. I couldn’t even touch the the DNS records or anything because I have been totally locked out of the account until today. So if it has been any changes it would have been Netlify support I would assume who has done it. The email does say hewas in the records

The domain by the way is www.paradigmtodigital.com

There are no MX records for this domain. You will need to follow the support documentation for your email provider to correctly configure mail services.

No disrespect, but I have to be honest. This sucks. I understand pausing the account until I could pay it but completely disconnecting my email to the point to where I had to reconnect everything on my end when it had to be disconnected by Netlify. I mean it really seems like somebody went into the DNS and did this, so Im not understanding why its not on me to connect it myself, but I got it. I just think thats bit much but ok.

As a community member (and not a Netlify employee) all I can do is aid in tracing the cause of the issue identified and agree that reconfiguring DNS is annoying at the best of times.

As you have identified this issue is caused by an initial failure on your part, you might have a stern talking with yourself to ensure such a situation does not arise in the future.

Hey there!

Hoping I can provide some clarity here. When accounts become deactivated, we do remove DNS records. Unfortunately, not all customized records can be restored, as this would require significant storage space in our database for closed accounts. We do our best to ensure your account does not become deactivated, such as sending daily reminder emails that your account will close down in “x” amount of days. We understand that this can have frustrating results if you wish to reopen a deactivated account, and would recommend reaching out to us prior to the account closing so we can provide some buffer time while you restore your payment method.

I am sorry this has affected your emails, and we can work together to get these set back up. Do you have documentation from your email provider on what records are required?
