Lighthouse Report: Crawling and Indexing- page is blocked from indexing

Hi Everyone,

After deploying my site, my Lighthouse report is indicating that my page is blocked from indexing and references the ‘blocking directive source’ as: x-robots-tag: noindex. I don’t have this in my code anywhere and this is the first time this has happend so if anyone has insight on this I’d appreciate the help. Thanks in advance!

I believe this is because the Lighthouse plugin uses a Netlify domain to run, Netlify automatically inserts this tag to ensure it’s pages are not picked up by search engines.
A consequence of this is that Lighthouse reports generated this way always include a warning for this tag.

Importantly it doesn’t mean it will be on your production site.
