Image loads fine on Local host but throws a 404 error on the Netlify hosted site

I created a modal which displays a GIF, which works as determined on local host, however when I checked the Netlify site, suddenly it appears the set path for the image is invalid. I imagine something is reconfigured during the build step but I am not exactly sure how to fix this. Can anyone help me?

@ayush1 You are using Vite, so your issue is the same as many others using Vite. You haven’t read or understood the applicable documentation for Vite. Vite isn’t magic and it won’t work with whatever random project structure you throw at it.
