DNS record for setting up email with IMAP, POP3 or SMTP server?

Hi, Im trying to setup my email to work after delegating my domain to netlify.
I am uncertain what record type to use due to my email being hosted by One.com.
I can get the settings for IMAP, POP3 and SMTP servers (and ports) but no MX or anything i can relate to in the Netlifys supported records list.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? is there one of the three mentioned mailservers that i can use? or do i need to talk to one.com to get some information?

It sounds like you’ll need to find out the necessary MX records from your email service provider, and add those in your Netlify account under Domains > DNS Records. Once added, and presuming your domain’s nameservers are set to Netlify’s and have propagated, all incoming emails for your domain will be routed to your email provider.

Hi, @CSKMedia, please refer to the following topic for a detailed answer about this:

The section titled “I did not copy my records before switching name servers and my email (or other service) stopped working. How do I fix this?” will probably be most helpful.

If there are other questions after reading that, please let us know.
