DNS issue: "This is a system record that cannot be managed directly."

Hi all,

I’m having the same issue as this one, and responses seem to suggest that I should make a post here for this: Can't edit the value of a DNS record of a domain managed by Netlify DNS

The site in question is competent-borg-a6a09b.

Before today, I had two sites hosted on Netlify, both using Netlify DNS on the same domain. One was/is on baribuilder.com and the other was on shop.baribuilder.com. I am hoping to remove shop.baribuilder.com and add a DNS record to redirect all shop.baribuilder.com visitors to baribuilder.com.

I was able to remove the custom domain from the shop.baribuilder.com, but now am unable to modify that DNS record. I’m seeing “This is a system record that cannot be managed directly.” when I attempt to do so.

Could you help me with setting up that redirect, or at least unblocking the “This is a system record” message?

Hi, @tadasant, all those records are now editable and deletable by you in our web app. You can delete them now. :+1:
