CNAME custom domain is not showing generated html from gatsby

I have a gatsby site on netlify and im running into a domain issue. When i view the site on the netlify domain i see the generated html but when i view my CNAME domain, there is no html. Why is this?

When i run yarn build && yarn serve it shows me html. Why is this an issue between the domains.
