Functions failing to deploy despite local bundle being smaller than 50mb

That’s unlikely. We’ve received multiple such requests this week, but all of those has touched the 50 MB mark:

Functions: request must be smaller than 69905067 bytes for the CreateFunction operation

I suddenly receive this error while building the website. Not sure why though, because all the previous builds were deployed and functioning as expected. I’ve seen the error message before in different threads, but not sure how to solve it. Especially since this was working before and I didn’t change anything inside the functions. Any hints?

"Request must be smaller than" today is different than yesterday

AWS adds additional data to it which takes the size further beyond the 50 MB. As you can see, it’s not an error from Netlify, but from AWS: But I agree, we could probably format it in a better way before presenting it to the end user.

I’d be tempted to test your project locally and try to reproduce the issue. Could you share your repo?
