URL Path's display "Page Not Found"

I have a site: https://clibu-note-v0-42-00.netlify.com which works fine, however when the URL includes a path such as https://clibu-note-v0-42-00.netlify.com/notes/home I get a “Page Not Found … Back to our site” banner. And the 'Back to our site" link often doesn’t work.

More information: Clibu Notes is a Web app and handles these paths itself. Running it on a local dev server does not have these problems.

I have searched the Community Forums but didn’t see anything of help.

Hi, did you see thit

Hi there,

Did you see this guide yet? This is the best place to start for “Page Not Found” issues.

If you are still seeing issues after following the troubleshooting steps in this guide, please let us know!

@perry Thanks for the quick rely, and no I hadn’t seen that. I can confirm the site has an index.html and if I just use the domain name it works fine, however as soon as I include a path it doesn’t.

You can try the links I included in the original post to see the issue.

Hi, @nevf, there is no server running at Netlify. We only serve static files.

Does this site use javascript to handle dynamic routes? If, so the solution for this issue to use the single-page application ruled ocumented here:

If this web app absolutely requires running an application server, this isn’t possible at Netlify. There is more information about this here:

If there are other questions about this, please let us know.

This guy made a video on this, you have to add a netlify.toml file : https://youtu.be/btG_hk4TSbE
