Hi Netlify Support Team,
I am writing from my primary, verified Netlify account regarding a student project subdomain that is currently locked in your registry system.
I manage an academic resource web portal for my university peers called the HITU Study Hub. Recently, while trying to handle some necessary backend maintenance, the previous deployment slot was fully deleted/banned, which has locked the naming registry.
I have successfully uploaded the clean, updated source code right here on this permanent, primary account. However, the critical subdomain I use—hitu-studyhub.netlify.app—is stuck in the system and says “unavailable” because it is still bound to that inactive, closed instance.
My fellow university students rely on this exact link daily to access their lecture notes and study materials.
Could an administrator or support engineer please look into the registry and manually release the hitu-studyhub name from the locked slot so I can safely apply it to my active deployment here on my main account? If you need me to verify ownership of the project files or repository to prove I am the creator, I am happy to do so privately.
