Hi Netlify Support,
I’m unable to provision a Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate for my custom domain minamaazi.com.
I’m using external DNS through GoDaddy. The DNS records are:
- Apex A record →
75.2.60.5 wwwCNAME →sprightly-otter-3aaa7a.netlify.app
Netlify reports “DNS verification was successful.”
I have also verified the public DNS independently:
- Apex A resolves correctly to
75.2.60.5 - www CNAME resolves correctly to the Netlify subdomain
- No AAAA record
- No restrictive CAA record
- No DS/DNSSEC record
When I attempt to provision the Let’s Encrypt certificate, I receive this specific error:
“certificate parameter is required when updating an existing certificate”
The domain was previously connected to another website provider and has recently been moved to this Netlify site. It appears there may be a stale/existing certificate state associated with the domain.
Could a Netlify Support team member please check the certificate state for minamaazi.com and reset/re-provision it if necessary?
Thank you.
