Hi Netlify Support,
I’m having trouble provisioning a Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate for my custom domain.
Netlify site: primepurchasing.netlify.app
Custom domain: primepurchasing.com
www domain: www.primepurchasing.com
DNS provider: GoDaddy (external DNS)
Netlify’s DNS verification was successful, and I’ve also confirmed that the DNS records have propagated globally.
My current DNS configuration is:
- A record:
@→75.2.60.5 - CNAME:
www→primepurchasing.netlify.app
I have also confirmed that there are no AAAA records, no CAA records, and no additional A records.
However, when I go to Domain Management → HTTPS and click Provision certificate, I receive this error:
“certificate parameter is required when updating an existing certificate”
Could you please check the existing SSL certificate state for this site and reset or clear it if necessary so that a new Let’s Encrypt certificate can be provisioned?

Thank you for your help!
