.txt file not displaying / 404

Hello. I am making a basic web-game application. I need to verify that I own the application, so I have to include a specific string at https://jungleguessr.netlify.app/riot.txt , but can’t seem to get it to work. I get the following 404 error:

Page Not Found

Looks like you’ve followed a broken link or entered a URL that doesn’t exist on this site.

If this is your site, and you weren’t expecting a 404 for this path, please visit Netlify’s “page not found” support guide for troubleshooting tips.

I’ve attached an image of the file structure. I tried putting riot.txt in both the root of the “JungleGuessr” folder, as well as within thie “src” folder, but the error persists in both folders. Please advise!

Hi @tbjorklund, welcome to the Netlify Support Forums.
Kindly move your riot.txt file into the public folder and that should work as expected.

Let me know the outcome.

Thanks.
