The previous Admin has let go of the Domain, and now I can't add it to my site

Here is Domain for my site
cheekycomics.netlify.app

My previous Admin has deleted the Domain cheekynuttybuns.com from their domains here in Netlify so I could add it to my site, since it’s my domain.

But when I try to do it I get : “cheekynuttybuns.com* or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team”

This domain was let go 3 days ago now, and I read I should wait a day or two. Can someone please help me?
