Thank you for a great product

I just deployed my first MkDocs site on Netlify and I’m genuinely impressed. The drag‑and‑drop workflow is exactly how hosting should work — simple, predictable, and fast. After fighting with GitHub Pages, Netlify feels like a breath of fresh air. Thank you for building a platform that respects the user’s time and delivers a clean, modern hosting experience. Developers always hear complaints but rarely hear praises. Here’s to you guys - thank you!

Well - I complimented Netlify earlier because the UI is genuinely excellent — probably the best in the static‑hosting space.

But after testing more deeply, I realized the usage‑based metering is a deal‑breaker. A single visit to a simple static site generated 31 requests. That was just loading the homepage. If I clicked around for 20 minutes, I could easily hit thousands of requests without any real traffic. This makes the free tier feel less like “free hosting” and more like a usage‑metered trial.

I wish Netlify offered a predictable, non‑metered option for basic static sites. The UI is fantastic, but the billing model makes it impossible to use without worrying about surprise charges.

So - for your UI - I give an A+! But for you sneaky metering charge – F-. Sorry - but that’s the truth..
