I tried signing up on netlify but my account got suspended at the point of sign up. I tried using stripe to verify my identity by submitting an ID but it still didn’t work.
I’m currently undergoing training at the Hertechtrail Academy and we were given an assignment on HTML form and table and submission is to be done using GITHUB to submit the codes and Netlify to host the page for my tutor to access and I can be graded.
Please kindly assist as I need to turn in my assignment.

Hi, can you please share your email so I can take a look? Please note you must submit and ID that coincides with the acceptable documentation as outlined by stripe here. OR you can signup for a pro trial and you bypass the ID verification process.

hello @SamO i’m also experiencing the same problem, i just made the account and it was immediately flagged as suspicious activity, i recently heard about netlify from a friend of mine whos been using your services for a while, wanted to give it a shot but i was immediately suspended. please help me
Verification email was set please check your spam if you don’t see anything.
Please try to signup and submit your ID documents as this is a requirement to reduce the potential of fraud. If you do not want to provide your ID documents you will need to signup for a Pro account to bypass this.
i just tried to submit my documents with stripe and got this message “We were unable to verify your identity and reinstate your Netlify account.” can i get some help?

Good morning @SamO I tried using the link from the verification email you sent, I submitted my ID and it show verification submitted successfully and almost immediately I got a message that there was an error trying to verify my documents
I have learned that Stripe’s verification system does not support documents issued in Iraq. This is likely why my previous attempts to verify my account were rejected.
I would like to know if there is anything else I can do to get verified. I am a CS major student and i need to use Netlify’s services for my programme.

I am writing to follow up on my previous message regarding gaining access to use Netlify. I have not yet received a response, and I am eager to get started with my projects before university starts.
I have already created a Github repository and tried to link it to my Netlify account. However, I am still not able to log into Netlify.

Hi, thanks for your patience. Unfortunately we can only accept documents that stripe accepts. You will need to find another platform to host your content.
You need to submit your ID documents in order to be unlocked.
