Message:
Hi — my site’s certificate won’t provision and I’ve exhausted the self-service steps.
- Netlify project: driftdesignandco-staging (team: Ledger AIO)
- Netlify URL: driftdesignandco-staging.netlify.app
- Custom domain: driftdesignandco.com (primary) + www.driftdesignandco.com
Problem: In Domain management, the SSL/TLS certificate has been stuck on “Waiting on DNS propagation” for many hours. The apex (driftdesignandco.com) verifies fine, but www.driftdesignandco.com stays on “Pending DNS verification,” which appears to be blocking the certificate from issuing. Clicking “Verify DNS configuration” reports success, but the certificate never mints.
My DNS (external, managed at Cloudflare — all DNS-only / not proxied):
- driftdesignandco.com → A record → 75.2.60.5
- www.driftdesignandco.com → CNAME → driftdesignandco-staging.netlify.app
- No CAA record.
I’ve confirmed these resolve correctly worldwide (Google, Cloudflare, Quad9, and the authoritative nameservers all agree). I recently migrated the domain’s nameservers to Cloudflare, and there were several failed certificate attempts during that migration.
Could you please:
- Manually re-trigger the DNS verification and Let’s Encrypt certificate provisioning for this site, and
- Check whether the domain is currently blocked by a Let’s Encrypt rate limit from those earlier failed attempts.
Thank you!
