I own the domain trail224.com (registered at GoDaddy, DNS managed there). The apex domain is used by another team’s project — my web designer’s, which hosts www.trail224.com and should keep it.
I am adding the subdomain tools.trail224.com to my own project trail224-tools (team wael-0bgm6li). The ownership TXT record is in place and live:
subdomain-owner-verification.trail224.com = 224d90c7ea25b8305e1a428f012b058a
and tools.trail224.com already points (CNAME) to trail224-tools.netlify.app.
The app still answers “Another project is already using this domain” after several “Verify again” attempts. Could you allow tools.trail224.com on project trail224-tools? The other project should keep trail224.com / www.
