Hello Netlify team,
I’m trying to add my custom domain to my project, but I get the error:
“startifymedia.ca or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.”
My current site: startify-media (startify-media.netlify.app)
I own and control this domain (registered at GoDaddy, nameservers are GoDaddy’s own defaults - the domain is not currently delegated to Netlify DNS). This appears to be an orphaned/stale claim from a previous unrelated attempt, possibly from an old account of mine that I no longer have access to.
To verify ownership, I’ve added a TXT record at my DNS provider:
Name: verified-for-netlify
Value: startify-media.netlify.app
Could you please release the orphaned domain claim for startifymedia.ca so I can add it to my current project? Happy to provide any further verification needed.
