Hi Netlify Support,
I need a backend reset of the managed TLS certificate state for m-associats.com.
Site: m-associats-landing.netlify.app
Custom domains: m-associats.com, www.m-associats.com
DNS: External DNS managed at IONOS
An inactive Netlify DNS zone for m-associats.com existed in parallel with the authoritative IONOS DNS. I have now deleted that Netlify DNS zone. Domain Management correctly shows “Set up Netlify DNS”, confirming that the site is using external DNS.
However, the expired managed Let’s Encrypt certificate is still configured for:
*.m-associats.com, m-associats.com
Renewing it continues to trigger a DNS-01 wildcard validation and fails with:
DNS problem: NXDOMAIN looking up TXT for _acme-challenge.m-associats.com
I do not need a wildcard certificate.
Could you please:
- Remove/reset the stale
*.m-associats.comwildcard certificate state on the backend. - Re-provision a standard Netlify-managed Let’s Encrypt certificate for
m-associats.comandwww.m-associats.com, compatible with external DNS.
The Netlify-hosted site itself is operational; the issue is limited to the custom-domain TLS certificate.
Thank you.
