SSL wildcard certificate stuck (NXDOMAIN _acme-challenge) — external DNS, need standard cert

Netlify site name: some-code-amirault-amirault[dot]netlify[dot]app

Build settings: Static site (no build command — publish directory .), deployed via netlify.toml at repo root.

Custom domains:
• amiraultavocats[dot]fr / www[dot]amiraultavocats[dot]fr (primary domain)
• amirault-avocat[dot]fr / www[dot]amirault-avocat[dot]fr (alias)
• amiraultavocat[dot]fr / www[dot]amiraultavocat[dot]fr (alias)

Error message:
Certificate expired Jul 24 (visible in Domain management → HTTPS). Same wildcard-related failure applies to *.amiraultavocat[dot]fr and *.amiraultavocats[dot]fr.

Context:
DNS for all three domains is managed externally at OVH (not Netlify DNS). These domains previously had inactive Netlify DNS zones — I’ve already deleted them (no “Netlify DNS” badge remains in Domain management; NS lookup confirms only OVH nameservers are authoritative).

DNS records at OVH are correct:
• Apex records → A → Netlify’s load balancer IP
• www records → CNAME → site name above

I don’t need wildcard certificates — only apex + www subdomains are served.

Debugging steps already taken:
• Verified via dig that DNS is fully propagated and correct at OVH for all 3 domains
• Deleted the inactive Netlify DNS zones associated with these domains
• Tried “Ask Netlify” chatbot — it confirmed the diagnosis (wildcard DNS-01 challenge incompatible with external DNS) but could not perform the backend certificate reconfiguration itself

Request:
Could you please remove the wildcard requirement from the certificate configuration and reissue a standard Let’s Encrypt certificate via HTTP-01 validation, covering all 3 domains listed above + their www subdomains?

Thank you!
