SSL stuck on "Waiting on DNS propagation" — Netlify DNS already verified

Site name: emirergun.netlify.app

Custom domain: emirergun.ie

Error: “Waiting on DNS propagation” in the SSL/TLS certificate section

Detail: Both emirergun.ie and www.emirergun.ie show :white_check_mark: Netlify DNS in my domain panel, and the site loads correctly over HTTP. I’ve clicked “Verify DNS configuration” multiple times — most recently 24+ hours ago — but the SSL certificate still hasn’t been provisioned.

DNS checks confirm the domain is resolving correctly: A record → 75.2.60.5, www CNAME → emirergun.netlify.app, no AAAA records, no CAA records. Everything points to a stuck provisioning job on Netlify’s side rather than a DNS issue.

Yes, I checked Ask Netlify and reviewed the SSL troubleshooting guide before posting. Could someone manually trigger SSL certificate provisioning?

Update: the error has now changed from ‘Waiting on DNS propagation’ to ‘We could not provision a Let’s Encrypt certificate for your custom domain.’ DNS still resolves correctly and the site loads over HTTP. After 24 hours of automatic retries I suspect Let’s Encrypt rate limiting may be a factor. Could someone help manually trigger provisioning or reset the certificate job?"

Bumping — ticket opened Friday June 5th, now Monday June 8th with no response. Still unable to provision SSL. Any help appreciated.

Additional detail: clicking ‘Verify DNS configuration’ immediately returns ‘DNS verification was successful ✓’ and shows a ‘Provision certificate’ button. But clicking ‘Provision certificate’ → confirming in the popup → immediately returns to the same ‘We could not provision a Let’s Encrypt certificate’ error. DNS verification passes every time; only the cert provisioning step itself fails instantly. This appears to be a Netlify-side pipeline issue.

@hrishikesh, @sid.m — following up on this thread after 5 days with no response. DNS verification passes every time but certificate provisioning fails instantly. Site: emirergun.netlify.app, domain: emirergun.ie. Could you please take a look?

What does one have to do to get help here?.. It’s been 2 weeks since I have been facing this issue. I guess the clean way is to shut everything down here and move elsewhere?

I have the same problem here, we’re both stuck… did you manage to find out ?
