SSL Certificate would not renew , Now Privacy Error

net::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

I am a noobie to Netlify, well sort of. I had success using the platform and posting this site with an SSL certificate. Then when it expired I I have not been able to get it to renew. I have tried to find out what I am doing wrong buoyantwisdom.netlify.app

Full error message copied and pasted:

  • error message: Your connection is not private

    net::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

I have gone through the steps of what should be done that I found in the Netlify documentation but to no avail. The DNS checker shows that the A record is propagated but the CName is not. This is my first time posting here so pardon me it this post does not have all the information you need to assist. Please advise.

I have made sure the DNSSEC toggle is OFF → DNSSEC is not enabled so that is not blocking the Netlify cert.
There is only one A record.

I added a CAA record to read: Letsencrypt

“Please remove the wildcard SAN (*.buoyantwisdom.org) from my site’s certificate configuration and reissue a standard Let’s Encrypt certificate for buoyantwisdom.org and www.buoyantwisdom.org.”
