SSL certificate stuck for 10 days - blocked by rate limits

Hi Netlify support team,

My site has been inaccessible via HTTPS for 10 days because of a stuck SSL certificate renewal.

Site: kaleidoscopic-piroshki-55021e.netlify.app
Custom domain: aurelien-dewitte-patrimoine.fr (using Netlify DNS)
Certificate expired: August 16

Errors observed:

  1. Acme::Client::Error::RateLimited: too many failed authorizations (5) for "*.aurelien-dewitte-patrimoine.fr"
  2. NXDOMAIN when looking up TXT for _acme-challenge.aurelien-dewitte-patrimoine.fr
  3. Now: SSL Provisioning is temporarily disabled because too many recent CertOrder creation with the site

What I’ve tried:

  • Clicked “Renew certificate” multiple times → all failed with the same rate limit
  • Removed and re-added the custom domain to the project → Netlify still tries to provision the wildcard *.aurelien-dewitte-patrimoine.fr
  • Netlify DNS is confirmed working (my emails via MX records function properly)

Request: please manually provision a fresh Let’s Encrypt certificate for aurelien-dewitte-patrimoine.fr and www.aurelien-dewitte-patrimoine.fr without the wildcard. The wildcard has never been necessary for my project and it’s causing all these failures.

This is critically blocking my professional activity. Thanks for your help.
