Site: helpful-peony-b1414d.netlify.app
Custom domain: themidlandsafricanchoir.co.uk
Problem: DNS verification fails with “themidlandsafricanchoir.co.uk doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify” when renewing SSL certificate. This appears to be a stale cached result on Netlify’s side.
Evidence that DNS is correct:
- Google DNS confirms A records: 75.2.60.5 and 99.83.190.102
- Google DNS confirms www CNAME → helpful-peony-b1414d.netlify.app
- curl http://themidlandsafricanchoir.co.uk returns 301 redirect to HTTPS (proving domain is in Netlify’s routing table)
- I have flushed the Google Public DNS cache for both themidlandsafricanchoir.co.uk and www.themidlandsafricanchoir.co.uk
History: Issue started after a Netlify DNS zone was deleted (nameservers remain on external Wix DNS). DNS zone is now fully deleted. Wix DNS records are correct and unchanged.
Certificate expires: Sep 16 (23 days remaining)
Please manually clear the DNS verification cache or trigger Let’s Encrypt provisioning for this domain.
