Hello Netlify Support,
I’m hoping you can help me troubleshoot an SSL/DNS issue that has been preventing my site from serving HTTPS correctly.
Netlify site name:
velvety-macaron-cde8b7.netlify.app
Custom domain:
tnfootcare.com
Domain aliases:
tnfootcare.com(Primary)www.tnfootcare.com(Redirects to primary)
Error message
When I try to renew the Let’s Encrypt certificate in Domain Management, I receive:
DNS verification failed
tnfootcare.com doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify
The current certificate has expired because renewal fails.
Also:
www.tnfootcare.comreturns NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID in Chrome.- Netlify Domain Management shows both domains attached to the site.
- Both the Netlify DNS page and my external DNS records appear to be configured correctly.
DNS configuration
External DNS records are:
A
75.2.60.599.83.190.102
CNAME
www→velvety-macaron-cde8b7.netlify.app
Troubleshooting already completed
- Verified the DNS records match Netlify’s documentation.
- Confirmed both domains are attached to the Netlify site.
- Attempted to renew the certificate multiple times.
- Ran Let’s Debug, which reported inconsistent server responses during validation.
- Netlify continues to report that the domain does not appear to be served by Netlify.
Could someone please verify the domain association and SSL provisioning for my site and advise why Netlify is unable to validate the domain even though the DNS configuration appears correct?
Thank you very much.
