Hi Netlify Team,
I need help fixing an SSL certificate renewal issue for my website:
Domain: skntheoryaesthetics.com
DNS provider: GoDaddy
Hosting: Netlify
SSL: Let’s Encrypt
The website was working earlier, but the Let’s Encrypt certificate has now expired and Netlify is not renewing it automatically.
Error shown in Netlify:
SniCertificate::CertificateValidationError: Unable to verify challenge for *.skntheoryaesthetics.com: DNS problem: NXDOMAIN looking up TXT for _acme-challenge.skntheoryaesthetics.com - check that a DNS record exists for this domain
Certificate details shown:
Domains:
*.skntheoryaesthetics.com
skntheoryaesthetics.com

I do not need a wildcard certificate for *.skntheoryaesthetics.com. I only need SSL for:
skntheoryaesthetics.com
www.skntheoryaesthetics.com
Since my DNS is managed in GoDaddy, Netlify seems to be trying to validate a wildcard SSL certificate using the _acme-challenge TXT record, but that record does not exist.
Could you please help remove the wildcard SSL requirement and issue a standard Let’s Encrypt certificate only for the main domain and www domain?
Please let me know if any DNS records need to be changed on the GoDaddy side.
Thank you.
