Hello Netlify Support Team, I am facing an issue with my custom domain velision.in connected to my Netlify site velisionofvisions.netlify.app. The problem: SSL/TLS certificate is not provisioning for my custom domain. Every time I click “Provision Let’s Encrypt certificate”, it fails with the error: DNS verification failed velision.in doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify We can’t provision a certificate until your DNS configuration is pointing at the Netlify servers and the changes have propagated. What I have already tried:
Correct A records are set: 3.33.251.168 75.2.60.5
Correct CNAME record: www → velisionofvisions.netlify.app
Verified with multiple DNS lookup tools (propagation is complete).
DNSSEC is disabled.
Removed any extra A/AAAA records (currently only the two recommended Netlify IPs are there).
Tried the Provision Certificate and Renew Certificate buttons multiple times after waiting more than 48 hours.
Custom domains are correctly showing in the Netlify dashboard: Primary: velision.in Redirect: www.velision.in → velision.in
Backend is hosted on Render (api.velision.in pointing via CNAME to velision-new.onrender.com), while frontend is hosted on Netlify. DNS records for both are properly set in GoDaddy (registrar). Current status: Domain is resolving (DNS works). But HTTPS certificate provisioning on Netlify is stuck. Website is inaccessible without SSL. Request: Please help manually provision the Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate for velision.in (and www.velision.in ). It seems the job is stuck on your end. Thank you ![]()
@karishmakumaritk-cpu It looks like you’re using an AI agent, they frequently provide incorrect information.
Set the A record to only 75.2.60.5 (which is as instructed by the Netlify docs):
https://docs.netlify.com/manage/domains/configure-domains/configure-external-dns/
For a Netlify specific agent you may want to try Ask Netlify:
