SSL certificate not provisioned after 24+ hours despite successful DNS verification

Hello,

I need help with SSL certificate provisioning for my custom domain.

Netlify site:
turistin-explorer-guarena-v3-test.netlify.app

Custom domain:
explorer.turistin.es

The custom domain has been configured for more than 24 hours, but Netlify is still not provisioning the Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate.

I have already verified the following:

  • The CNAME for explorer.turistin.es points to turistin-explorer-guarena-v3-test.netlify.app.
  • Global CNAME propagation has been checked with DNSChecker and is resolving correctly.
  • Netlify reports: “DNS verification was successful”.
  • Let’s Debug HTTP-01 test for explorer.turistin.es reports: “All OK! No issues were found”.
  • The browser currently returns NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID when accessing https://explorer.turistin.es.
  • Netlify continues to show “Waiting on DNS propagation” / successful DNS verification, but the certificate is not being provisioned.

Could a Netlify support team member please check the SSL provisioning status for this domain and, if necessary, retrigger/reset the certificate provisioning process?

I have not installed a custom certificate and would like to use Netlify’s automatically managed Let’s Encrypt certificate.

Thank you.

Update:

The status has now changed.

Netlify is no longer only showing “Waiting on DNS propagation”. The HTTPS panel now explicitly reports:

“We could not provision a Let’s Encrypt certificate for your custom domain.”

Clicking “Verify DNS configuration” still succeeds.

Additional checks already completed:

  • CNAME propagation is correct globally.
  • Let’s Debug HTTP-01: All OK.
  • No CAA records are present that could restrict Let’s Encrypt.

Could a Netlify staff member please check the backend certificate provisioning state for explorer.turistin.es and manually retry/reset the provisioning if necessary?

Thank you.

Hi,

Just following up on this issue, as it is still unresolved.

explorer.turistin.es continues to show:

“We could not provision a Let’s Encrypt certificate for your custom domain.”

DNS verification still succeeds and the DNS/HTTP-01/CAA checks described above remain correct.

I also removed and re-added the custom domain once to force a new provisioning attempt, but the same error returned immediately.

Could a Netlify staff member please check whether the certificate provisioning state for this domain needs to be reset/retriggered on Netlify’s side?

Thank you.
