# Setting Up Edge Functions Error!

My Website will deploy but shows up blank at my development URL. I’ve been trying to debug this for 3 days now and still can’t figure out what’s wrong.

I closed the other threads. Any updates regarding this issue (from yourself and others) will remain in this thread.

This issue with the build here is this

You need a space after the `=` **i.e.** `CI= npm run build`

If this is indeed a different issue than your previous thread(s) _(I do note the previous thread was local build/development and it appears this is running on Netlify)_ I am happy to open the previous thread again. As I noted on one thread [here](https://answers.netlify.com/t/setting-up-edge-functions-error/68422/2) the issue is possibly with Netlify CLI so creating an issue on the GitHub repository is possibly the best course of action.

Thank you, I’ve implemented the space after `=` but I’m still getting an error with my build command.

I’ve updated Netlify and retried the netlify build command. But I receive the same error.
