Request manual verification for a domain

Hello Netlify Support Team,

I am writing to request manual verification for a domain I recently purchased so I can add it to my site. I believe the domain is currently locked by a previous owner’s configuration on Netlify.

Here are the specific details:

  • My Netlify Site Name: scintillating-madeleine-bee558.netlify.app
  • Custom Domain I want to add: lmml.dev

I purchased lmml.dev recently and have no connection to the previous owner. When I try to add the domain, I am unable to proceed due to the existing DNS zone conflict.

Could you please guide me through releasing the domain? I will create the necessary TXT record to prove my ownership as soon as I have the URL for this support topic.

on this thread? I’ve not added a TXT yet, want to make sure when I do, I’m following instructions.
