+1 for Python! I didn’t want to believe that python lambdas weren’t supported so this thread was very helpful. It would be really helpful to run python scripts on API requests!

Is there any news as to if other Lambda function environments will be supported aside from Go and Node? Python is one of the most frequently used general purpose languages over the past few years, we all know Lambda supports it, and this makes Amplify, Vercel, and other platforms stand out a bit for folks who either don’t want to lock their full Netlify stack into Node or don’t want to manually split their backend to non-Netlify resources e.g. AWS…
