Problem with DNS Netlify

  • Netlify site name: chessecho.netlify.app
  • I have got a domain from namecheap (chessecho.com), I followed this guide which guides through using Netlify DNS addresses as custom DNS on namecheap.

I thought it might take some time for DNS configuration to take effect but after about an hour, I don’t think it’s the case, I also tried redeploying after reading one of the forum subjects.

I see nothing wrong with the DNS configuration @nabilrise and am able to access both chessecho.com and www.chessecho.com.

What issue are you experiencing?

Strange, now it’s working for me too.

But right before I posted the output of the dig command was

Now it’s working just fine, but do you happen to know what was the issue before?

As shown in the screenshot, the TTL at that point was 1182—just under twenty minutes. So likely the previous DNS records came from a cache on your computer, network, or DNS provider when then expired at that point.
