I have a domain purchased through Netlify using default nameservers.
I’d like to point this domain to a site hosted using Digital Ocean app. I created the following CNAME record:
Name: www.customdomain.com
TTL: 3600 seconds
Type: CNAME
Value: digitaloceanappurl.app
I also deleted all other auto created records from Netlify so its just this on in DNS management. I’m not sure why it doesn’t work / what I am missing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, are you still experiencing this issue. Propagation time for DNS record changes can take up to 48 hours.

Hi, @marcusharding. It looks like the DNS record has propagated now when checking the URL you shared above.
About CNAME flattening, that is supported via the ALIAS type DNS record at Netlify.
