Please remove wildcard certificate requirement and reissue standard cert for lairo.es

Hi Netlify Support,

My site (custom domain: lairo.es) has a wildcard certificate (*.lairo.es, lairo.es) that repeatedly fails to renew via DNS-01, even though the _acme-challenge CNAME delegation to _acme-challenge.lairo.netlify.app is correctly configured and verified at the DNS level (Hostalia).

Error: SniCertificate::CertificateValidationError: Unable to verify challenge for *.lairo.es (alternating between NXDOMAIN and “No TXT record found”).

I do not use any wildcard subdomains — only lairo.es and www.lairo.es are served by Netlify. Could you please remove the wildcard requirement for this site and reissue a standard Let’s Encrypt certificate covering only lairo.es and www.lairo.es, so it can renew via HTTP-01 instead?

DNS configuration:

lairo.es. A 75.2.60.5
www.lairo.es. CNAME lairo.netlify.app.

Thank you!

Update: This is now a production outage — the certificate expired and the site is inaccessible over HTTPS.

I followed your own support guide on inactive Netlify DNS zones and deleted the inactive zone for lairo.es. However, I now can’t even test whether that fixed it, because every renewal attempt is blocked with:

There are too many certificate creation with this site recently. Please try again later.

Domain configuration is confirmed correct and stable (verified independently via DNS):

lairo.es. A 75.2.60.5
www.lairo.es. CNAME lairo.netlify.app.

Could someone from the team please force a fresh certificate issuance on your end? The site has no wildcard subdomains, so a standard cert for lairo.es + www.lairo.es via HTTP-01 would fully resolve this. Thank you.
