Hi Netlify team,
I’m trying to add the subdomain rafi.sibony.com to my site “rafi-tulane-budget” (site ID: b95f3d83-c8da-4681-b450-0b70606553e1, team: assaf-auig3n8) and I get:
“sibony.com or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.”
I own the domain and I have no access to whatever team holds that zone - most likely an old abandoned account. The zone is not in use: the domain’s authoritative nameservers are GoDaddy (ns05/ns06 domaincontrol) and have been for years.
Proof of control: I manage the domain at GoDaddy as the registrant, and this record is already live in public DNS:
rafi.sibony.com CNAME rafi-tulane-budget.netlify.app
Happy to add any TXT verification record you specify on the apex domain to confirm ownership.
Request: please delete/release the stale DNS zone for the domain from the other team (or transfer it to my team assaf-auig3n8) so I can add the subdomain to my site.
