Next/image _ipx function timing out

I’m seeing function timeouts generating some of our larger image derivatives with next/image.

This function has crashed
An unhandled error in the function code triggered the following message:

2023-01-20T16:56:12.758Z 2a54a845-98f7-464a-a80e-1bd856e6f79c Task timed out after 10.05 seconds

I think this is the same as Function timeout when using next/image.

Can you increase the timeout on our netlify functions?

I just did a deploy it doesn’t seem to have taken. I’ll do another deploy in case there was a delay in config propagation, and check back in in 10 or so.

I just completed another deploy. I’m still seeing 10s timeouts on the site.

Sorry, can you pretty please redeploy one more time? I just checked with our Senior support engineer and your timeout is definitely set to 26s so if it’s still not working I’m not sure what the issue would be.

Absolutely… I did a deploy at 1:50 and got
