NetlifyCMS, GitHub and AWS Amplify - can we all just get along?

NetlifyCMS checks commit status updates.
Github is in the middle.
Amplify uses the check status.

I’ve seen a few other CI/CD systems with a similar problem.

Their are a few pulls/comments/issues out on this, all kind of “hanging fire”.

Is there are a way anyone has been able to glue this situation together?
