Netlify Domain Alias running into "page not found" routing issue

I have a react-based application setup succesfully with netlify. Here is my build script:

# package.json
"build": "NODE_ENV=production webpack",

# netlify.toml
[build]
  ignore = "/bin/false"
  publish = "dist/"
  command = "npm run-script build"

[context]
  environment = { NODE_ENV = "production" }

[[redirects]]
  from = "/*"
  to = "/index.html"
  status = 200

I can confirm I could be able to browse to any path with the https://<SITE_NAME>.netlify.app/path URL however it’s seems to me the redirect does not apply for the domain alias URL. In my case the https://MY_ALIAS_DOMAIN/path would yield the Page Not Found error.

For your information, I am using Netlify DNS and has added the CNAME record pointing to the netlify app URL.

Many thanks

Hi @compono,

The account associated with the forums login has just 1 website and all the domain aliases of this website are loading fine for me. Is there something specific that we can check or did something change meanwhile?

I’ve managed to fix the issue. It is because I have not publish the site deploy.
