Netlify CMS Insert HTML in Rich Text Box

Hi,

I’m trying to include a

(banner) to a post via the rich text box. But it just displays the code not the actual banner:

Does anyone know how I can include a

banner
in the Netlify CMS?

Adding HTML in markdown mode like you’re doing should work. Since you don’t use custom previews, the CMS doesn’t know how to display your banner, but the HTML should be added to your markdown files just fine.

If you want to preview your HTML in the CMS, have a look at the custom previews section in the docs. Or just disable the preview altogether.

You can also create custom editor components to add your banner to the markdown…
