NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID Issue

Hi! I have an issue with my website, located at https://svitkin.rbind.io and deployed from GitHub https://app.netlify.com/sites/infallible-hopper-cc7429/overview.

I use a custom domain that has been working for over a year and the following domain provider: http://support.rbind.io/. However, recently I started receiving NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID error when trying to access the site. And when accessing the insecure version of the site, none of the css or js files can properly load for the same certificate related issue. From the error message on Chrome, the cert is not expired.

Does anyone have an idea for what could be causing this issue all of a sudden? Should I reach out to my domain provider or is this a Netlify issue I can fix?

Thank you!

Hi, @svitkin. There is an inactive Netlify DNS zone for this domain. We have a support guide about why this is an issue and how to fix it here:

It would appear that the inactive DNS zone is not on you account. We can delete the inactive zone if you create a verification DNS record as covered in this support guide:

Would you please read that guide and then create the verification DNS record? If there are any questions or concerns, please let us know.

Thank you for your help with this! I ended up going with the solution found here https://github.com/rbind/support/issues/797, related to the domain provider I used. It looks good now. Thanks again for your assistance.
