# Need SSL Certificate extended to branch deploy custom domain

Hi,

I have follow your [[Support Guide] How to use Netlify’s branch deploy feature without Netlify DNS](https://answers.netlify.com/t/support-guide-how-to-use-netlify-s-branch-deploy-feature-without-netlify-dns/128) and created a custom domain for one of my branch deploys – not managed through netfliy’s DNS.

I’ve verified with nslookup, but in step 4 I need support’s help with extending the SSL cert to this custom subdomain.

Can I get my certificate extended to [staging.maker.storyblocks.dev](http://staging.maker.storyblocks.dev/)? for the jellystone-staging.netlify.app site?

I’ve extended the certificate to include the staging branch, you should be all set.
