My websites have stopped working or there is no connection
Hi My websites are also stopped working , after clicking On the Links they are Not working Please someone help me this are My sites https://ishwarprofile.netlify.app/ and https://onlinetrainingapp.netlify.app/ Please look into this @luke @perry @fool
Same! Multiple sites for me are down.
I can’t even resolve their netlify.app URL
Same here. 2 of my sites are down with the error DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
Same all my websites down what happens
DNS address could not be found. Diagnosing the problem.
DNS_PROBE_POSSIBLE
Yes, the netlify.app domain has no more DNS records and is not resolving any domains
Same here https://client-homepage-tatugaschool.netlify.app/ i thought my custom domain is having DNS problem but when I check .netlify.app is also down
Seems like anything pointing to netlify.app is down.
If your DNS records point to something.netlify.app, you can change it to the A record shown in your account. In ours, it’s 75.2.60.5.
That immediately solved our issue for now (we have low TTL on the DNS records), although we will eventually move back to netlify.app.
For apex domains, using ALIAS to apex-loadbalancer.netlify.com may also work but we haven’t tested that yet.
As an additional data point, this seems to only affect domains who use a third-party DNS provider.
Some of our domains domains use Netlify DNS, and they do not seem to be affected, even when the records in the UI point to something.netlify.app. But the domains that use third-party DNS providers are affected.
I am a Netlify user, not an employee, so I have exactly the same information the general public does. This is not official advice.
Yes thats right, xyz.netlify.app doesnt resolve, hence all sites are down (or going down as DNS cache expires)
netlify.app is in clientHold, someone forgot to renew the domain.
Edit: It’s back
If anyone wants to look it up: ICANN Lookup
Not renewing for about 12$ and thus having a large outage is very embarrassing ![]()
All our subdomains stopped working. It breaks our SLA
Same here, my productions systems are down. Whats going on lately? too many issues!
Rather embarassing that it’s been 45 minutes and there’s no mention of it on their status page ![]()
fwiw I was also able to use alesandro’s instruction (thanks) to get it working. I couldn’t actually find the A record in my Netlify account anywhere (maybe since I use cloudflare as well) but using the same 75.2.60.5 seemed to work for me. Just went into Cloudflare’s settings, changed the two CNAME records to A, and then swapped out the netlify.app bits with 75.2.60.5.
They are too busy with AI, not DNS failures that cost production to go down. DO they even notice this issue???
Seems like they have renewed their ICANN now.
Thanks for posting this @alesandroortiz! I was working with Claude Code (aka CiCi) because one of my clients websites is down and I don’t want her losing sales because of something I did.
Color me disappointed with the lack of attention to this issue.
Seems like {subdomains}.netlify.app is back, yeah.
They finally posted something on the status page: Netlify Status - Increase in DNS Resolution Errors
