We’re launching a micro-site campaign for our consumer product, set to run for 50 days. The site itself is compact (under 2 MB) as media content is hosted on S3. We anticipate a significant traffic spike during the campaign’s weekend launch due to past experiences.

Queries:

  1. Does Netlify handle traffic management automatically based on our plan, or do we need to take specific actions?
  2. Will Netlify block traffic if there’s an unexpected surge in visitors?
  3. Is it necessary to provide advance notice for such situations?
  4. Will our plan be upgraded automatically if needed, or is manual intervention required?
