Issue with the mobile version of Vuejs app - net::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

Hi,

I deployed a Vuejs app to production recently https://micuenta.netlify.app/, which works perfectly on a desktop browser (Chrome) but on mobile devices, I’m unable to do the following:

  • login

Looks like POST requests to the backend doesn’t work and it returns “net::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID”

I’m unsure if it’s a DNS issue or the SSL certificate provided by Netlify.

When I test on Chrome (macOS) the error I see is

Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

which refers to your backend at

https://micuenta.sandbox.gagesac.com/api/authenticate

which is not controlled by Netlify. As such the SSL certificate on your Netlify site does not cover your backend. This is something you need to arrange with the provider of your backend service.
