IPV6 Affecting Meta social tag preview rendering

I’ve realized that after doing the update to IPV6 DNS Routing that I can no longer have the ability to clear out the cache for my meta tags and social previews on Facebook and Twitter. Even though I change the meta tag information on my react app for index.html, it doesn’t showcase the changes on the social media previews on Facebook, Twitter or any other social media platform.

It’s weird how this has been happening due to IPV6 upgrade but that’s the guess I had after reading a ton on StackOverflow questions and answers…

I would like to know exactly why this has been and if IPV6 is the problem, how would I be able to disable it!

Hi, @gayuru, I see that this site is using our prerendering service. This specific to prerendering and isn’t related to IPv6.

Quoting this page:

Our built-in prerendering service will cache prerendered pages for between 24 and 48 hours; this is not adjustable.

If there are other questions about this, please let us know.
