# I want to register the domain I own

Please release the orphaned DNS zone for [arqtect.com](http://arqtect.com)

I bought [arqtect.com](http://arqtect.com) through Namecheap on 15 August and it is now in my account. When I try to add it as a custom domain I get “[arqtect.com](http://arqtect.com) or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team”. I’ve checked every team I have access to and the zone is not in any of them, so I think it’s left over from whoever owned the domain before me.

Could you release it? I can add a `verified-for-netlify` TXT record to prove ownership — just tell me the value. My site is arqtect.netlify.app.
