I receive the error message custom domain name is or one of its subdomains is already manage

Hello Netlify Support Team,

I am trying to add my custom domain, nohadaya.com, to a new site on my current Netlify account.

However, when attempting to do so, I receive the error message: nohadaya.com or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.

My specific situation is:

  • I previously had nohadaya.com associated with another team on this same Netlify account
  • I unfortunately deleted that team without first explicitly releasing or removing the domain from its settings.
  • I understand this means the domain record might still be lingering in your system.

Could you please assist me in releasing nohadaya.com so I can add it to my desired site on my current Netlify account?

To verify ownership, I am ready to provide:

  • A screenshot from my domain registrar GoDaddy showing me as the owner of nohadaya.com.
  • If required, I can also add a specific TXT record to my domain’s DNS to verify ownership.
